O Kalani comes through! In less than a week, together we raised over $600 to help our local Coast Guard families.
Proceeds went to Chevron gas cards so they can get to work and get back on the water. Also, our Costco run was a success consisting of non-perishable goods. Today, all items were delivered to The Local Coffee Shop in Alameda. Otto Wright is the coffee shop owner (shown in pictures) and one of the organizers of this community effort. The East Bay Coast Guard Spouses Club will pick up items and distribute them among the families. I spoke with Nicole Lauer, VP of the EBCGSC to share our gratitude for the USCG services. Nicole expressed how much this means to their families and send a whole hearted thank you to O Kalani. Special thank you to Jody Cox for her helping hand.
What a great way to share our aloha and start off 2019! Way to go O Kalani!
